Gary Farr - composer (Short Biography)
Gary Farr as a composer and pianist, has written, recorded and scored music for movies, TV, jingles and commercials. A music major of classical and jazz, his writing capabilities have varied from New Age, classical, jazz to rock, pop and dance tracks. An original native of South Florida who enjoys the warm waters, glowing sunshine and a good round of golf, he recently finished an orchestral piece titled, "The Sun Symphony", a project Gary worked on for a number of years. In 2002, Gary moved his studio and home to Los Angeles CA to write for TV/ film scores and expand his indie record label, Secret Formula Records. In 1999, Gary co-produced a classical CD (‘Dance of the Blessed Spirits) for Florida Philharmonic flutist, Jeanne Tarrant. As of 2004, Gary has had over 30 original songs used for placement in TV & film. Gary's latest productions have been the successful 'Up All Night' CD with saxman Ron Fattorusso and his own 'Fresh Brew' jazz CD released in 2004......more
